My standard hourly rate is $400, effective January 1, 2012. * Half-day and full-day rates can be negotiated. (*An advance deposit of $1,200 is required.) BILLABLE TIME
Mediation time, time for substantive phone conversations, and for reading briefs and supporting documentation is billed at the hourly rate listed above. Travel time is billed only if agreed in advance by the parties and the mediator.
PAYMENT
Advance payment of the deposit is required no later than 2 weeks prior to the mediation or substantive work in preparation for the mediation. Payment of the balance owing for preparation and for the mediation itself (based on your time estimate) is due with the briefs. An invoice will be submitted after the hearing with an accounting of the amount paid by each party, together with a refund of any overpayment or an invoice for additional amounts owing. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
If your mediation is canceled and not rescheduled, a full refund of any amount not yet earned will be made if the time slot can be filled.
